We heard a lot about him last winter with the KAAF Movie. Romain is a 23 years old skater from Liège, and probably one of the most promising of Wallonia. As good in manuals as in rails or curb, his next part is certainly gonna be insane!

Can you tell me about your skate experience?
Philippe Mottet noticed me at Havelange's skate contest in 2010. He offered filming me for a street video and I accepted. Then, it's thanks to some footage that I obtained my firsts sponsors as "Bigx Bakery". It's a styled clothes brand from Antwerp. It's thanks to Philippe that Bigx' boss noticed me. Phil showed him my progression in the KAAF Movie and he offered me to skate for him. A few weeks later, I was shooting for a introducing video in Leuven's skatepark. Now I'm also sponsored by Switch skateshop, in Hasselt. Once again, it's thanks to the KAAF Movie!
Do you already have some plans for the future ?
Actually, we already started the shooting of the KAAF Movie 2. I'm gonna try to show the best of me for my next part, and if it's possible, without injuries. I hope to improve as much as possible in my passion.
And about the KAAF Movie, what can you tell me ?
So, the KAAF Movie... It's more than a video, it's a band of friends with who i love to skate and who helps me a lot improving myself, mostly in street! We shot in all Belgium, almost every sunday for more than one year. We finished the video with a trip in Barcelona tha was for me unforgettable! The movie is now available on Youtube. Once again, I would like to thank Philippe Mottet for the gratifying results of the movie!
Today, skateboarding has a big place in your life. But how did you start this ?
I started skateboarding 11 years ago. I remember that I stared with some friends in a little street of my town and really liked this sport that is now my passion. When I'm skating, I just feel good It helps me to escape from my problems.
